About

I've spent more than three decades building software — primarily backend systems, APIs, and the infrastructure that supports real products in production.

Over that time I've worked as both an individual contributor and an engineering leader. I've led teams, shaped delivery practices, and been responsible for making sure things actually ship.

More recently I moved back into an IC role.

Not because I wanted to step away from leadership, but because I've always enjoyed being close to the work — designing systems, making trade-offs, and improving how things are built.

I'm interested in good engineering practice. Clear thinking. Sustainable delivery. The quiet, compounding decisions that make systems either resilient or fragile over time.
